A red fox (Vulpes vulpes) with a full winter coat walks around Sandy Hook National Park in Highlands New Jersey in search of food. Foxes are a rare sight at the park that was found early in the year before the summer beach crowds arrive. The small population present in 2008 were euthanized because of an illness they had come down with.
