US Coast Guard Radar Tower

A radar array on top of a tower on the base that houses the Sandy Hook Coast Guard station. Tucked into the sprawling Coast Guard base at the former Fort Hamilton is USCG Station Sandy Hook, part of the US Coast Guard's 1st District. The station is home to several small boats, and also has a deep-water pier for visting Coast Guard Cutters which are usually forward deployed to the station during foul weather.
